Welcome to Sarada Vilas Law College

Sarada Vilas Law College is one of the sub-Institutions of Sarada Vilas Educational Institutions® situated near Ballal Circle, 5 Kms away from Mysuru Railway station. Sarada Vilas Law College is the Second oldest Law College in Karnataka established in the year 1954 having magnificent history, creating special image in the society. It was started by Prof. Sampige Venkatapathaiah, an Educationalist, Freedom Fighter and himself an Advocate being the First Principal of the College, Since than college has made unique contribution in the field of Legal Education by rendering valuable service in shaping the law aspiring students. Sarada Vilas Law College is known for its quality of providing excellent value based legal education.

Sarada Vilas Law College has started its service of imparting legal education in the year 1954 under the patronage of the erstwhile Rulers of Mysore. In the beginning the college has started F.L. and B.L. courses which have later been changed as LL.B. degree course. Karnataka State Government sanctioned grant-in-aid status to our college for 3 year LL.B. degree course in the year 1988 and 5 years B.Com LL.B in the year 2023-24 At present, our college is affiliated Karnataka state Law University Navanagar Hubballi.

It is a great pride to share that our Law College has celebrated its 60th year Golden Jubilee programme inaugurated by the present Chief Minister of Karnataka and also Alumni of our Law College Sri. Siddaramaiah, on 5.09.2015.
